MADKAP - The Vintage Hard Rock Show is filling a forgotten void in the Florida music scene... A classic hard rock tribute to the '70s, '80s and '90s.
You will experience the music of all the greats... Aerosmith, Led Zeppelin, Janis Joplin, Black Sabbath, Ted Nugent, Peter Frampton, Jimi Hendrix, Deep Purple, Jefferson Airplane and Cream.
The show includes Alice In Chains, Audioslave, STP & Rage Against The Machine as a tip of the hat to the grunge era as well!
Give yourself and your guests and clientele something different that allows them to take a trip down memory lane and invites them to go back in time to relive some of the greatest rock'n'roll moments and memories of their lives!
(And just as important, invite your younger clientele to experience the rock'n'roll madness they were born too late to see and hear first hand!)
The Musicians
John Ledbetter (guitars, talkbox, bows) and Jeanne Myers (vocals) are both lifelong Sarasota area music veterans who have been entertaining their committed following for many, many years. Their roots are entrenched deep into the roots of hard rock as can be seen in Madkap's selection of artists and bands they cover.
They are now joined by one of the area's newest and most powerful rhythm sections.
Jon Engel (bass/vocals) hails from NYC and has played at the legendary CBGB and L'Amour. One may be hard pressed to find a stronger hard rock bassist in the area, if for no other reason, than the way he handles the parts of John Paul Jones, Geezer Butler, Roger Glover, Glen Hughes and Jack Bruce.
Tom Schlund (drums/percussion) called Cleveland, Ohio home for most of his life and his background includes sharing the stage Foghat, Badfinger, and Humble Pie at the world famous Agora Ballroom and Theater, the same venue that helped launch Rush, Springsteen, Meatloaf and The James Gang in the '70s.
As a unit, the individuals of this foursome have entertained literally hundreds of thousands of music lovers during the course of their careers and are now fired up with the opportunity to introduce MADKAP -The Vintage Hard Rock Show to the southwest region of the country.
